In an interesting bit of silence by the media who seems otherwise completely enamoured with the “Nithyananda Case”, It is has been barely reported that the only female who claimed to have been attacked by Bhagavan Nithyananda had her complaint quickly thrown out of USA courts and she was fined nearly $500,000 for her false rape claim. In fact, in May of 2019, the Karnataka High Court officially accepted the United States court judgement on this very matter. While the matter was before US courts, Arati Rao tried to quickly withdraw her claim of ever having been sexually abused by Bhagavan Nithyananda when her medical reports were released to the court and showed she was a long time carrier of multiple contagious STDs. This fact, when combined with Bhagavan Nithayananda’s brahmachari clean medical history exonerated him from any possibility of wrongdoing as per the false claims. Notably, the false claims of Arati Rao have changed drastically from having been raped 100 times over 5 years to simply “facing life threat” from various sources. This is a crucial and damning change of claim to be made before the courts in the prolonged “fake rape case”. Not only that, but Arati Rao has since fled the United States and is a wanted fugitive there. Additionally, the CID of Karnataka openly admits there was never any rape victims. When a USA court can open and close such a clear cut case in a matter of weeks – why have allegations drug on in India for more than a decade? And without a single piece of evidence in any of the cases presented before the Court? Is it really that hard to see? Where is all the media on this? And with the track record of targeting reputable Hindu Gurus by slandering them with false rape allegations is it not clear that something more is going on here? Now media cries that Bhagavan Nithyananda has not yet been murdered – and that a manhunt must be launched to execute – execute what? Certainly not justice. Several vitriol murmurings have been drudged up recently around social media claiming that Srila Prabhupada was not a “real sanyasi” – that he lived as a householder and then abandoned his family. Actually, Srila Prabhupada, born as “Abhay Charan”, was a community spiritual leader from the time he was a young boy – one of the telling indications of any great Incarnation. Lord Krishna has reached generations, and millions around the world, manifesting through Srila Prabhupada. A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada took sanyas at the age of 63 and somewhat reluctantly sailed across the Atlantic Ocean at the age of 68 in 1965 to fulfill his Guru’s instructions to share the consciousness of Lord Krishna with the West. He passed through a heart attack on the sailing vessel while leaving his beloved Vrindavan for the first time. Srila Prabhupada arrived in a wintery New York city, with virtually no home, no money, no office, no possessions, and no support. Soon, his room was broken into and his only significant possession of a typewriter, was stolen. From this, and in barely 10 years he circled the world and manifested one of the largest and most successful organizations sharing Lord Krishna with the planet. And to Today, ISKCON continues to grow and construct some of the world’s most magnificent temples.
