Reactionary Violence in Delhi – How are Hindus to Respond?

How are Hindus to Respond to the Violence in Delhi? Violence continues to be reported from Delhi as we cross more than 80 days since the Citizenship Amendment Act was passed in the Indian Parliament and the opposing sit-in protest at Shaheen Bagh began. To date, 37 lives have been lost and hundreds more injured, including several police officials who were heinously murdered amidst gruesome circumstances. Violence in Delhi has included clear plans to organize violent mobs, as well as the strategic stockpiling of weapons and petrol bombs. In recent days, the roof of a Hindu temple was occupied as well as neighbouring homes. The locations were used to attack neighbours and hurl stones at passersby. Citizens of Delhi have begun organizing candlelight vigils at the India Gate as a call for peace in the city that has been plagued by reactionary violence. Most of the time human beings find violence to be very charging. The violence-based attitudes may feel exciting, especially when supported by a large number of people. But the violence attitude is neither eternal nor permanent. Even when supported by a large number of people, life-negative violence is never supported by the cosmos. Hindus have started losing the elite culture revealed to us by our ancestors from their 1000s of years of research and development. We started behaving as per reactionary assumptions. Anything we feel as our core strength other than pro-life powerfulness is delusion. Trying to eliminate another life is not supported by the cosmos. We become Hindu when we discover the powerful cognitions of Upanishad or Bhagavad Gita, Ved-Agamas, not just because of who our mother and father are. Hindu lifestyle and thought current IS the technology revealed by the Rishis. Powerfulness that comes from our very core is the only sustainable strength, not compounding our violence. The authentic Hindu inner world lifestyle of pure life-positivity uncovers a real nuclear force from the core. Life-positive, life-possible, life-powerful – not reactionary violence.
