51 Uttarakhand Temples Next Target for Takeover | Siddha Medicine Heals Coronavirus in Tamil Nadu

On Wednesday the Uttarakhand government moved to justify government takeover of 51 of the state’s biggest Hindu temples including Kedarnath, Badrinath, Yamunotri and Gangotri. Preposterously, “cleaning” has been cited as one of the main reasons why Hindus should not be allowed to run their own temples in the state. Notably, there have been zero legislated suggestions publicised, not even one, over the past 25 years enforcing Churches and Mosques to be government-run in India. Why? This week’s last minute reply affidavit by the Uttarakhand government did not answer on the points raised by Dr. Subramanian Swamy’s petition to protect the temples. Nor did it address the landmark Supreme Court’s 2014 Judgment against the Tamil Nadu Government’s takeover of Nataraja temple in Chidambaram district where the Supreme Court clearly said that temples should be managed by devotees and not the Government. (PGurus) Dr. Subramanian Swami, via Advocate Ishkaran Bhandari, had filed a petition to protect Uttarakhand’s temples from being administered by leaders of other religions to which the Uttarakhand government is currently opposing. 2 weeks ago, retired District and Sessions Judge, Shri Pawan Kumar, from Haryana released a report and commented on atrocities being committed against minority Hindus in the Mawat region of Haryana. He said, the area which comprises a 20% Hindu population is notorious for criminal activities. Adbuctions, rape and gang attacks leave many Hindu victims too afraid to even report many crimes. Nonetheless, attacks on Hindus from the area are sometimes still revealed on a daily basis. The retired judge himself was quoted as saying, “Aurangzeb-like brutal atrocities are being committed against Dalits in Mewat”. (Swarajyamag) As all Living Hindus know, life is really quite simple, if we keep it simple – little food, little sleep, and spiritual strength. This is why many are now turning towards traditional Hindu and Vedic practices for the future: simple ways to live healthy, and in tune with the people and environment around us. The most tried and true methods come not only from the Vedic scriptures but also have proven their worth in being implemented for more than 10,000 years. An 84-year-old Nanjammal from Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu has enriched more than 100 families to start their own organic “kitchen gardens”, a practice that is essential to surviving in the post-Covid world. Food prices will skyrocket in the future while Nanjammal gifts saplings to neighbours to save thousands of dollars monthly and lead the sustainable way forward. (Commune) Tamil Nadu and Kerala have been using Siddha medicine – a system with roots pre-dating every medical system on Earth – to heal Coronavirus victims. A specialist medical team has found 23 of 25 patients given Kabasura Kudineer – a Siddha formulation officially allowed by the Tamil Nadu government, along with herbal tea, and sunbath for a week were healed from the virus. (Commune) More than 500,000 artisans work all over Odisha in various sectors, many of them live in villages and are not partnered with any business, they are completely dependent on the towns and cities and indirectly on tourism. (Commune) Due to Coronavirus pressures they are struggling for their very survival in a way they have not seen for many generations as they are not in a situation to even buy the raw materials required for the handicrafts.
