April 16, 2020 in Palghar District of Maharashtra: 2 Mahants of Juna Akhara, one of the world’s oldest and central organizing, official bodies of Hinduism worldwide are murdered. Along with devotee Nilesh Telgade. The incident is not reported in media although the attack lasted hours while dozens of police were present and a mob of 500 people had gathered. Only after a live video of the torture and killings makes rounds on social media, mainstream media also publishes articles of the attack. Mahant Kalpavriksh Giri Maharaj is 70 years old, Mahant Sushil Giri Maharaj was a Balasanth – he declared his Sanyas vows in front of his entire family and community, with all of their blessings, at the age of 12 years. From 12 years old he gave his life not to exploiting and controlling others but to serving the humanity as a non-violent young man – dropping all the lusts and temptations of the modern consumerism cult and cinema cult – throwing all that out as a young child to serve the humanity for peace for everyone – at the age of 35 years just now he was brutally killed in the night. A large mob of paid hitmen descended on his vehicle, carrying the 3 from Juna Akhara and tortured them for hours while police with riot gear watched. A dangerous murder of a 70-year-old Mahant who gave his whole life serving peaceful community cooperation and a 35-year-old Balasanth who from beginning as a small boy was developing into a young leader of the next generation, and devotee Nilesh Telgade – all three of them criminally targeted in a trained killing – a despicable act. April 27, Bulandshahr Shiva Temple in Uttar Pradesh: two Hindu Priests are attacked with swords and murdered inside their temple at Pagona village. Jagandas (55) and Sevadas (35) had previously been living at the temple. The two Priests were heinously slashed and stabbed and left for dead. April 28, Mewat, Haryana: Mahant Ramdas of Muktidham Ashram is threatened to be set on fire, killed, and thrown out. He was attacked with sticks and other weapons. Somehow, Mahant Ramdas manages to escape with his life in tact. Police refuse to accept his filing of an FIR over the attempted murder. May 10, Rupnagar, Punjab: The well known 85-year-old Shri Maha Yogeshwara Mahatma is murdered inside the Shri Muni Desham Ashram. He has lived at the Ashram for 40 years and belongs to Sarkaghat in Himachal and Kali Kamali in Rishikesh. The 85-year-old Shri Maha Yogeshwara Mahatma is heinously murdered. The media barely reports on the murder. And almost zero of the reports mention that Shri Maha Yogeshwara Mahatma, at the age of 85 years was attacked so brutally – the attackers cut off his head, and they cut off his arms. Somehow, media neglected to mention these gruesome details of this senseless violent mayhem. May 24, Nanded, Maharashtra, Midnight: Balbrahmachari (Child Saint) and Shivacaharya, Nirvanarudra Pashpatinath Maharaj, who is aged just 33 years is attacked and beaten in the middle of the night inside his home, Pashupati Math. He is brutally murdered along with his disciple and assistant Bhagwan Shinde (50). The attacker attempts to flee the scene while taking the brutalized body of the Shivacharya Maharaj with him. May 29, Palghar, Maharashtra: Three men break into the Jagrut Mahadev Mandir at Balivali and attack the 2 temple Priests. Head Priest Sankaranand Dayanand Saraswati (54) and Shyamsingh Thakur (60) are assaulted and attacked. The attackers escape while looting temple items. June 6, Kashi Sarvajnaepeetam: at 1:30am in the morning a gang of thugs break into Kashi Sarvajnapeetam and begin breaking the walls around 5 sleeping Sanyasis inside. The Sanyasis are beaten and tortured for the next 18 hours. Despite possessing a Court Order stating the Mandir must not be touched during any demolition activity, the 5 Sanyasis are variously beaten, chased out, and kidnapped. The ordeal lasts hours while one of the Sanyasis manages to livestream the incident on his mobile as a last ditch effort to preserve his life, the lives of his brother disciples, and the deities still installed in the Temple. The terrorizing ordeal shows one of the Swamis is beaten and dragged unconscious while 2 Brahmacharis are chased with weapons and held hostage inside the building while it is demolished from the outside. The livestream ends showing the limp body of one the Sanyasis being dragged away in broad daylight while the 2 trapped Brahmacharis plead for their lives and for help from anyone watching.
