A cyber complaint has been filed with the Maharashtra police by the activist group “Legal Rights Observatory” against the Wall Street Journal. The group is demanding an apology and withdrawal for false claims published February 26. The “Kashmiri Pundit Documentary” and Broken Temples in Bengaluru

In one more example of a befallen Hindu Temple, last month The 180-year-old Sri Anjaneya Temple in Bengaluru was demolished to make way for the Bengaluru-Hosur national highway. When questioned about diverting road construction around the temple, an official of the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation (BMRCL) replied, “We will have to acquire an additional 30 properties to do that.” A service road will replace the now-demoilshed 180-year-old temple which saw 1000 devotees visiting each Saturday. On December 11, 2019 the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) was passed by the Parliament of India. It is intended to offer Indian citizenship to certain persecuted religious minorities who had fled to India from neighbouring countries of Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh.
