Shocking scenes today surfaced from Kashi Sarvajna Peetam in Varanasi depicting a brutal attack on a Hindu temple and the defenceless young Sanyasis maintaining the devasthanam. In the early hours of June 6 around 1:30am a large group of hired goons broke into Kashi Sarvajnapeetam in Varanasi and assaulted the male Sanyasis sleeping there.
