Puri Shankaracharya: “Pre-meditated and well-orchestrated conspiracy” against Jagannath Rath Yatra

After an initial Supreme Court banning, and a last-minute protest appeal, Puri’s ancient Jagannath Rath Yatra was begrudgingly permitted to move forward with minimum participation by the public during the ancient 10-day essential Hindu festival. The event was broadcast live – where millions of devotees participated.
